GET TO KNOW OUTLOOK’S PEOPLE

This month:

FRANK GIUFFRE, JR.

Frank is a Commercial Property Manager at Outlook. Outside of work, Frank loves to race cars, spend time with family, and travel.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I love driving race cars. I did my first “spec Miata” race recently — that’s with modified Mazda Miata MX-5 cars. I have my professional racing license, and I race at Road America in Elkhart Lake with my dad, so it’s really a family thing.

What do you love above racing?
The adrenaline and the competition. It becomes a passion.

What else do you like to do when you’re not working?
I love spending time with my girlfriend Amy and her two boys. I also enjoy playing golf.

What’s the best place you’ve ever travelled to?
I love New Zealand, but I really love Puerto Rico. My grandmother is from Ponce, P.R., and I lived there for two months in 2018 helping rebuild homes that were destroyed by Hurricane Maria. I love the culture, the food, the landscape, the people — they are so resilient and kind.

What’s your favorite movie?
Sandlot. It’s a childhood classic, and I love the character Bennie “The Jet.” He’s an inclusive leader. I like to watch it with Amy’s son who’s 7 — he literally watches it at least twice a week.

Who’s your hero or heroine?
My folks — especially my mom. She overcame a large brain tumor in the fall. She had a massive surgery, and she’s healthy now, but she really overcame a lot. She inspires me to try to be my best.

What’s your philosophy of life?
I really like the quote, “Comparison is the thief of joy.” We want to do our best to make sure nothing steals joy from our lives.

Do you have a “superpower”?
I’d say it’s my spirituality. I’m energetically sensitive, which means that I can feel people’s energy more easily than others, which can come in handy.
